Would you trade your Sonic for a Code 130R?

If Chevy decides to make the small 2-door RWD 2+2 Code 130R and offer it with the 1.4T in the low $20k range, would you trade in your Sonic for one?

I personally would be first on the list if they came out with it in about 3-4 years. There will be plenty of aftermarket to support the 1.4T at that point, my Sonic will be nearly paid off, and both of my kids will be in front facing car seats or boosters, and capable of climbing in and out of the back themselves. It would honestly be perfect timing and a perfect car for me. Like a poor man's 128i, except 'merican. Thoughts?

PS. I know about the Tru 140S, and I like the styling on that better, but it is still FWD, so I'd rather just keep the sonic instead of getting the 140S.

I'd be happy with the 1.4 too. By then there will probably be a turbo upgrade and we'll be getting at least 250hp from this motor

They need this but a sedan, offer the 1.4 and the 2.0. Then yes I would buy one because it would be the ONLY rwd sedan that is not overly expensive. If anyone beats them to the punch I'd buy theirs. I think its ridiculous that the cheapest drivers sedans start around 35k, its total bs. The whole world doesn't want to drive camrys...its just all they can buy.

Another coupe? yawn, there are much better and better looking options.

I would only but a two door car as a project car, weekend warrior, or a track only car. In all those cases it would not be a brand new car.

I would line any of those up against even a 2T in that car any day and would feel like a man driving everyone over it as well!lol My Sonic is a little car with a purpose, I leave my man card in the Sierra and Harley (Yes Chris, I still have it!).
