I think I could design up an overlay but cutting out the old mesh isn't a good option. I think Sonix13 was originally trying that as well and we noticed the fog light potion is fused to the back of the mesh area. If you take you bumper off and get a good look at that area, post some pics.

Thanks for the response Beastlick. Sure, if it helps, I'll post some pics of the fog lights housing when I remove my bumper. But an overlay below the fog lights might work.

The issue that I'm having is that I would like to somehow change the way the stock fog lights looks on the RS, but I haven't found any after market options. So I'm left with limited options. I once thought about installing an LTZ bumper on my RS just so that I can have the option to add a front lip and get aftermarket fog lights but I realized that I don't want to loose my RS look...

Yeah, I had that same idea so I sent BEASTLICK some pictures... I could be done, it's just not going to be an easy task by any means.I think what might look the best would be figuring out how to mount the fog lenses without the insert them just mesh to fill the hole. That way you match and you keep the fogs...plus if you have charge tubes you could see them and the air would cool them.

Might sound silly, but couldn't you just dremel out the mesh to let air go by?

You know that I was actually thinking about doing this but I'm not convinced because I'm planning on also buying one of these grilles from Beastlick and I would rather have the fog lights openings match the grille.

I'll try and dig up the pics of the backside of the fogs. There is way more going on behind them then we both thought.

You can't just dremel the mesh out and keep the fogs that's where they attach to the bezel. It would require figuring out how to rig the mounting on for the fogs. You can just remove the entire assembly however and it has a semi flush hole that shows the pipes.

That actually sounds like a good idea, ,, but would that mean deleting the fog lights?

Yes, means no fogs at all, then Beastlick could probably make a matching mesh to fit in there.

You could buy different fogs and I could build the mesh/trim around the fogs....

Pretty much, I'm partial to keeping them. I might try and find a way to rig them in place without the chrome and black trim...see how that works.

I got a new "Art Deco" style grill in the works. Going to be using 5 different kind of mesh with this one! My dog is thrilled as you can see!

I also just purchased these here to help with finding the Sasquatch. Going to be fully integrated into the upper grill. Curved 22" LED light bar.
