Buy the sections and have the shop weld them together....lol

This place has builders kits that are more than reasonable and they even have slip fit kits so all you would need is hangers and good clamps.

Yeah, just buy the pieces you need and get that straight pipe exhaust on! The kit costs a little more but you won't have to worry about not having what you need and it will be stainless front to back.

Yo homie, just go to Specialized Exhaust in Elk Grove (that's where I go), tell Paul (shop owner) that Phil with the black Chevy Sonic turbo hatch sent ya! He can hook you up with very good press bends for cheap or he can get you a whole mandrel bent kit for a 'lil more. He does very good jobs & is a very nice, friendly dude who won't bull**** you. He'll do anything you want too, from mild to wild! Look up the website for more info & to get the phone # cuz I don't remember it off the top of my head right now, his prices are straight up with no tax too!

I most likely wont head out there just for an exhaust system at a place that would need a kit to make a mandrel bent system. I could get that here with a local shop that will provide a warranty on it for around ~$200. But I want a piece with flange's in the right places and bends made on a single pipe. I may see what they would charge for a test pipe and if its cheap enough get it made.

If i go for a kit I would much rather attempt to do it myself as it would be the cheap option in a budget pinch. If i don't feel like i can weld it up myself i know people who will for a 6 pack and a joy ride.

Well, it's up to you man, it's your car. The difference of letting a professional shop do it vs yourself will speak for itself though. I personally wouldn't want to tackle such a daunting project, that's why I got rid of stuff instead of changing it all up (I now run only the resonator underneath). What local shop are you referring to, Muffler Tech or something? I'd stand behind Paul's work anytime, he's that good. Give him a call at least, but if I was you it would be well worth the trip if you used his business, lmk if you do & I'll try to roll down there with you!

If he had a mandrel system in his shop i'd drive down there but I'm not going to drive past 20 shops to get to another who can do the same work.
