There is very little need for backup camera on a Sonic. It's a small car that doesn't need a backup camera.

Just a small question
Does the new 2014 Sonic LTZ manual transmission have Factory installed Remote Start.
So that we can use our smartphone for the Remote link fob services through mylink app as shown in advertising.

No GM vehicle w/ a manual transmission is available w/ factory remote start in the North American market. I suspect that holds true for the world market.

I see the '14 mylink "looks the same" but has a rear view camera. Anyone know if its a software update to older mylinks or is it a different part # for the head unit?

Pretty much no one will do this, its a huge liability.
Case in point..had remote start on my Honda and had a neutral safety switch, apparently it failed because when I went out of my office to get into my car, it had drove in reverse into some thorny ass bushes. :sadbanana: I was super lucky I didn't have it in 1st gear cause it would of rabbit hoped into a Jag that normally parked in front of me.
Most stereo installers or shops (if they don't know you) will not install a remote start in a manual car either.

I'd love to have remote start, but I love my manual more.
Anybody else see the irony of having a manual car with remote start technology? Or all the bells and whistles? Sometimes I think it's funny that I drive an econobox with leather heated seats and I have to (lovingly, willingly, purposely) shift it.

Yeah, it would be nice on those cold winter nights getting out of work, but you can't have it all I guess.
