This is indeed porn and magnificent works of art, good for you. What is the large silver thing behind the coolant res?
Also, what would you say the biggest difficulty is in making a manifold, etc for our engines. Is it a space issue? Obviously costs/time but besides those. Lets say you were given a blank check to build a (perfect) big turbo set up for our engines, what would be needed that is currently holding you back? And i say perfect because you have obviously already done wonderfully in doing it. I've been following all your threads so i know the surge is a big issue. Theres no motive behind my question besides simply being curious.

Sorry I forgot to reply to this.
First off thank you for your compliments. It means a lot to me.
The silver thing is a "pulse tank" at least that what I call them when I use them on other applications. It's essentially a damper. The hope was that it would reduced the surging. It diminished it, but didn't eliminate it. Because I thought the under hood was kind of boring, I made the "Devo" hat for it just for the hell of it.
Here's what it actually looks like.
The area between the tank and charge pipe is open.
To answer your other question, the design of the kit was based on cost to produce. I asked months ago what people wanted and 90% wanted a low cost turbo kit. The manifold design was done this way to facilitate casting. I'm also trying not to have to remove/replace other components to keep cost down.
If this was for me or a customer with an open check book, it would be far more elaborate.
