IF the pricing is inline with 2012 and the credit union pricing I got for it, $20k on the dot.

Great price! But only the pre-miles price is worthwhile to compare with.

If you're talking about swapping it with an RS grille, can't be done! Don't be fooled by the people claiming it'll fit when it's obviously shaped different.

I am 99.9% sure that it is swappable. The grill itself is not a different shape.

I honestly do not understand this debate. The RS has items that will appeal to a small minority of consumers and is projected to sell a small minority of the total Sonic production. Those consumers who would like the RS items (such as myself) will probably buy an RS, but that does not mean a consumer will be required to buy an RS if they want to buy a Sonic.

As to power improvements, Pete Basica has pulled 124hp and 125hp using premium fuel and coilovers. I doubt the coilovers affected the HP but am certain will help make better use of the additional 8-9 HP. I have pulled 150hp and 152hp using premium fuel and the DDMWorks cat back exhaust.

To me, the RS is priced close to right. The sueded fiber inserts w/ real leather seating instead of the pleather seating only sweetens the deal.

When he told me this over the phone it was before official pricing had been released to the dealers and before he seen the actual invoice. So like I said it was an estimate. Where did you get these numbers though?

Price schedules on 2013 MY Sonics were released in late June even though the RS press release just went out last week.

And, correcting my earlier sentence, it should have read the turbo/auto with sunroof is $23,130 MSRP.

^ I drive 40 mi each way and currently run a manual - I'm already an irate enough driver having to deal with San Moron-ico drivers and I need the auto to keep me calm.
(Stop and go on a freeway in non-rush hour traffic is unspeakable)

Plus I'm using my Sonic for family driving as well as letting the wife use it.
I'll need the hand free for my 4 mo old.
I taught the wife how to drive stick but she's not a confident manual driver.
No mistake like letting someone who is not confident drive.
