Hello Beastlick, I was thinking to do the retrofit and have a few questions before I buy anything.
Do you know how big your projector lens are? Or the model that you chose at the site? I am probably going to order from The Retrofit Source but I'm not sure if the BI-XENON FX-R STAGE III KIT are too big or need the BI-XENON MORIMOTO MINI STAGE III KIT (H1)?
Do you know which one is equivalent in size to the ones that you installed or which one would you order and will fit if you have to do it again from The Retrofit Source?

Thanks laborsmith, I read that thread before. Maybe I overlook the information that I need, but I was looking for more in-depth info like exact measurements since that was just a quote someone asked the company and I'm not sure if they ever installed them on a Sonic.
I'm just trying to prevent cutting anything (like the shroud or housing) that is not needed because I might of ordered one is too big. I know they say to go with the FX-R stage 3 but they do not have specific dimensions of the lens on that post.
They offer a 2.5 and 3 inches of the same kit and also a smaller one but before I order something, I wanted to confirm with someone that already have done the job before.
I appreciate directing me to the post, I will re-read it all again hoping to find the answer.

The Morioto mini H1 is nice because you mount it right into the stock bulb opening. The FR-S is a true stand alone projector which would need to be molded into the sonic headlight, way more work but a pronominal projector. Either system needs to have the lens removed for installation.

Im interetested in buying a set of those, I will have the funds in two months tops! I just got get my tail lights done, hella supertones, and some headlight bezels. Unless it would be easyier if the headlight bezels included in the package. very interested tho

These are really, really cool!!! Gotta ask how long the bulbs last? Worried about recurring cost to keep this cool toy running.

I installed my set in Dec 2012 and haven't replace a bulb yet. One of my ballasts went bad this spring which was a very easy fix.

That's pretty awesome.. I have Eagle Eye Projector housings now.. Really want to demon eyes, but don't want to heat the housings to remove the lenses. Thought about just drilling two small holes on the back of the projectors (near the bulbs) and drop in Red LED Diodes, then dab of silicone to waterproof it.
Still on the fence about it..

I'd Love to Get HID head lights, BUT...they Cost to much and to much work involved, My dad did the same with his Honda and I saw what He had to do..so Although it's nice..no thanks, I'll probably do it SOMETIME..LOL..Just not now.

When you resealed your lights what process did you use? I built a pair using aftermarket housings but I'm gonna use my stock headlights to build another set
