hey DevilSonic89, how does the car perform now that you have the DDM Intake on your car? and do you have the Trifecta Tune on your 1.8? Just curious how well this all runs once Installed and Tuned with the Trifecta Tune. Would love to get my 1.8 Sonic Moving better. I plan on getting a exhaust shop next spring (2013) to fab me up a nice 2.25" Cat-Back Exhaust with a Non-Chambered Magnaflow Muffler and no Resonator. Then my next step will be getting this new DDM Intake and then a Tune Somehow. I say somehow as i dont have a Laptop or access to one. Glad to hear all went well with DDM!!

The car performs amazingly well. Dave was really suprised and i was as well. I dont have the tune on the sonic yet, but when i go back for the production intake and dyno's im goin to get her tuned while im at DDMworks

Sweet! I cant wait to get one of those then. Keep us all posted on everything. I look forward to hearing how the tune made a difference with the DDM Intake. If i was able to hit a good amount of money between now and spring 2013, i might just take me a little road trip down to visit DDM...thats if i can come across some good cash to do so. I am so ready to get my Sonic out of stock performance and get some aftermarket parts on it. Exhaust in the spring, then depending on what that costs what i do after that. 2013 is going to be fun!

Since DDMWorks is only about 1 hour and 45 min away from..im going to get all thier products on my 1.8 :banana:

Well im more like 11-12 hours away from them So it would be a road trip for me to go down there to thier shop. but if i was able to hit high enough on something to pay for the trip i would do it in a heartbeat to have my sonic tricked out by DDMWorks. Awsome company with awsome products. Its these guys which makes me enjoy the fact i bought this car. Its companys like DDM which is why i bought this car, To upgrade it and have fun with it! Cant wait to see the final product and get one for myself!

That's why Eric hates it, it's marketed as a performance intake but sits on top of the motor and super heats. Ideally these intakes should be wrapped no matter what brand but they don't look as nice and I have been checking mine after a few 30+ minute drives and it is almost cool to the touch.

I got an email from dave the other day saying they havent set a date on the release of the production model of the 1.8 intake yet but once they do know when it will be available he will post it here on the forum to let everyone know its available to be purchased. Myself i cant wait! Im buying me one once its available.
