I have been holding out for this intake.....

It should come in near the same price as the 1.4L intake, since it has roughly the same amount of sheet metal, tubing, silicone, etc. ($275-300ish)

Sweet!!! Look Forward to seeing this on the site for sale and then getting the money saved up to buy it lol. ive been holding out for the DDM intake as i really like the way it is constructed. K&N would be my next choice... but id rather buy from a supporting company to help bring more parts out later down the road!

Hey there everyone,

The intakes for the 1.8L are officially released :banana:

Sonic Cold Air Intake, 1.8L

Polished version with heatshield is $265

We have assembled the finest parts to create the DDMworks 1.8L intake, we use a mandrel bent aluminum tube in 2.75" diameter along with an oversized K&N pleated and oiled filter to keep particles out of the engine. The kit comes with your choice of a black or blue silicone connector along with a high quality 304 stainless steel heat shield. This helps keep intake temps low and close to ambient while the vehicle is in motion.<br><br>This is a great functioning intake that with our custom powdercoat options allows you to create a truly one of a kind intake for your personal ride!

PLEASE NOTE: We are offering 2 different filters with this intake. The foam filter will keep the factory fuel trims very close to stock and no re-tune of the ECM is suggested. The K&N filter will flow more air and the fuel trims will be off but has not thrown a check engine light on the test cars these have been installed on. A re-tune of the ECM is suggested with the K&N filter, and if you are going for maximum power is really the best option.
