I'm looking/waiting for an update on this as well. I was looking at the ZZP kit, but they don't offer the ability to have colored rotors. Has anyone else bought the DDM colored rotors, and if so, have you paired them with aftermarket larger calipers?

There has to be some median ground between stock and $2K Brembo...

The cheapest I've seen the Brembo kit is about $2800. I'm holding out for the GM Performance brake kit, you can see it in their performance parts catalog, gmpartsdirect lists it for a little less than $800.

I called my local Chevy dealer a few days ago and they looked up the part number and it's not available yet, it's supposed to be available Q3 this year but I was hoping it was ready now.

I'm running hawk hp+ with r1 concepts rotors and they are a little much.

A set of hawk hps pads should see a vast improvement over stock with out being to aggressive.

Thats what Tom from CED said in the suspension thread.

I saw where the big brake kit was discontinued.... before it hit the shelf.

Just talked about this with Dr. Dave.

He has been playing with a half dozen different configurations. The struggle is that he wants to provide a kit that can work with the stock rotor to keep the price down, and that is proving to be an endangered possibility. The stock upright caliper mounts are just too tight.

The next option is to go with a proprietary rotor, bigger and possibly 2-piece, which would be sweet! But would likely double the price of the kit.

I reaffirmed to him the amount of "want" here, so hopefully he will make more progress soon.

6 year old thread so I’m guessing they didn’t do it or there would probably be more post and info. There is a thread with a brake upgrade using Camaro parts that I know of.
