was out and about and i parked in this lot to do something on my phone because im one of those that just dont believe in using a phone when the vehicle is moving. if i need to use my phone i pull over or into a parking lot and stop the vehicle, do what i have to do, then continue on. otherwise the person can wait til i reach my destination. anyways, I was sitting there and i see this couple come out and go to there minivan. Get there kids all packed into the van. Get settled into the seats. and the husband was in the passanger seat and the wife driving.
I look up and see the husband smack the wife on the arm and point over towards me. i can see his mouth moving saying, "Look over there at that car"... He was pointing at my Sonic lol. She gives him a look for smacking her, then leans forward and over to her right slightly to see around the cars blocking the view and they proceed to eye my Sonic. They sit there for a minute looking then i see him mouth to his wife " Just pull out and go by slow"... And thats what they did. Backed up, and drove by heads Cranked to the right looking at my Sonic checking it out as they went by lol. Then when they pulled out and going down the road, they had there necks cranked again to get a look at the rear of my Sonic.
It was a Priceless moment. Made my day that i got someones attention with my Sonic

You're not alone. A fellow tech was calling the new sensation "beaver fever" for the longest time and quoting some gold rush disease or something which was legit for the name.
I now associate the word with something more. umm. sinister? or inappropriate for the forum.

I want to say that i had to disable 6 codes directly related to my rear O2 not being there. I thought i had them all and then a couple popped up. Back on stock maniverter and the codes are still turned off.

FML and FTW!!!
Started at a new job location for the company I'm working for today.
The FML part: it's a travel job in San Jose 393's jurisdiction. The pay is even better than what I make at my local (342, and if I told you how much it might anger you), but I won't be eligible to put as much into my 401 (currently $12/hr). Plus the commute sucks. 1 hour there, 2 hours traffic home. No bueno with race clutch in dead traffic.:blankface:
Also the job is 90% clean room work, meaning hair net, boot condoms, latex gloves and clean shave or beard net and lab coat. Very uncomfortable for such a laborious job.
The FTW part: they want to set me up as a foreman (10% extra pay), give me a company truck, and keep me there for years. And in my trade nothing is more valuable than job security.
I'm torn, because with plans for starting a family, I don't think me spending 3 extra hours driving a day is fair to my wife and future kids. Plus I'm taking an Instructor position at my hall on Monday nights. I'm never gonna be home.:sadbanana:
