That's what I do, I start work at 6 but get up at 4:30am to give me time to gather myself before work and I have a much better day than I would if I just hopped at out of bed and went to work.

I pass out whenever my body quits and wake up at 5. On days off, I pass out whenever my body quits, and wake up whenever it decides it wants to move (read, when my kid is slapping me in the face saying "dad get up!").

I struggle with cyclothymia. I can rarely get to sleep before midnight no matter what I have to do in the morning. I have ADHD and my brain just doesn't shut off.

I've been bouncy and happy lately. I should have named my car Prozac.

My wife has severe ADHD. She just went off her meds recently for personal reasons.

Her technique for falling asleep is to put on ear buds and listen to a police scanner with her eyes closed.

I know that makes no sense, but it seems to work.:confused:

I can't take meds because they mess with my blood sugar as well. So, my lack of sleep and lack of meds tend to make me a mess which exacerbates my depression.

I totally get your wife's tactic. This is why metal is relaxing to me. The more chaos outside my brain, the quieter it is inside.

ADD just makes life more fun for me, I don't really get bored because I just start messing with something else.

It does make falling asleep a PITA, I can see how a police scanner could help because its all random and would make it difficult to sink into a topic of thought and wonder off into la la land.

ADD sucks for me. Hard to concentrate on a task when my mind is wondering.

I also am on medication for depression and OCD. This new car will be the end of me my GF and brother told me! Man, I am too anal about **** no matter what it is. New TV, new car, new clothes, I just need to learn to let loose and enjoy myself but easier said than done.

Took my Sonic in today to get it serviced and an oil change performed. Also had to have the Front Stabilizer Links replaced per a Recall that was out for them. Car runs great now. was noticing some play in the front end before and now i dont notice any of it.

They gave me a 2005 Pontiac G6 Base Sedan for a rental car while it was being worked on and omg that car sucks! I was beyond uncomfortable in that car. Its ugly inside. I had only a few inches for head room sitting in that car and im not exactly a tall person. kept hitting my damn head on the roofline trying to get out of that G6 each time. One would think after the 3rd time i would duck before trying to exit but nope, kept hitting my head because i wasnt use to that car. Overall i am so glad i bought a Sonic vs a G6 when looking for a new vehicle last year. Was so glad to get back into my Sonic!!
