Basically been on a 4 10 work schedule since mid November. Next week we go to a 5 8 schedule. Not looking forward to the 5 day a week schedule. Add to that working tomorrow due to the shut down that was supposed to be today being rescheduled, and im going to be a bit grumpy this week. Only hope is that my new part shows up for install this weekend.

I liked having 3 day weekends. I have worked 6 and 7 day shifts before. 2 months of 7 10s was rough and it was followed up by 2 months of 6 8s. At least with a 6:30-3 shift schedule it shouldnt be to bad.

Nice, I wish I had that schedule. I haven't had much overtime in the last 7 months. Before that it was 7 8hr shifts with as many 12s as I could get

In my current position I'm not sympathetic lol. I'd love some OT, especially twelves. I was an OT hoe when I had it, 76hours while taking 13 credit hours of school; that was intense.

I know what your saying thou, sometimes the extra hours just isnt worth it, after coming back from strike i didnt want to work any OT

So when I hear someone who plays more than hour of video games/day say they don't have the time to do something productive, it sounds to me like they are really saying: "I'm a loser."

I agree to, Sadly I live on a farm so there is very little down time. Because crap always breaks. But you know what's that's like

I don't have downtime, I have study time, work time, cooking/cleaning/wife time, car time, derby time, archery time, once school is done I'll be back to speedway time, taxidermy time, drool on the desk because I never sleep enough time..lol

Back when I was 31, for 3 months I was working 1 full time job, 2 part-time jobs and carrying 13 college units. I stopped school when the semester ended but kept the 3 jobs for another 15 months!
