I just tried to race an R8...
Fastest two seconds of my life

HAHAHAHAHA, I was at a light one time in my 2.2L S10 and a twin turbo Supra pulled up next to me so I rev it and he just looks and kind of smirks at me. Light turned green and I melted 1st, 2nd, and chirped into 3rd thinking where the hell is this guy. Next thing I know all I can hear is turbos spooling and this Supra blowing by me and disappearing to just a dot of taillights down the road.....I was very pleased that I beat him in the 1/64 mile drag race that night :banana:

Yeah so two weeks ago I was driving where two roads merge into one. All of a sudden this R8 pulls out of a gas station in front of me and cuts me off where the roads merge. So I go home that day and tell my bf that this d amn R8 cut me off. And idk why but my first thought was man I should have sped up and tried to race him

I'm convinced it's the same R8 even though I wouldn't be surprised if two of them are rolling around down here. Today I caught up to him going 80 but he whipped past me doing 90 until he slowed down to turn.

Years ago when I lived with my parents we lived in a main road that had 2 lanes each side and a stop light a few houses away.

I had just got out of my car and I saw an early 30s purple Ford hot rod with huge slicks on the back sitting by what looked like a brand new Porsche. I don't know what model Porsche it was.

Anyway, I decided to watch because I thought something might happen. When the light turned green the hot rod went from quiet to unbelievably loud and easily was over 100MPH by the time he passed our house. The Porsche looked like a turtle compared to it but he was trying.

I don't know what engine was in the Ford but it sounded strange.

So, I finally got sick of my Pantech Burst being slow as crap and risked uploading a custom rom to it "CM10".

All I can say is.


WOW.

It also lets me disable LTE and choose what network I want to use so that fixes a HUGE problem I've had at work. The LTE signal at work is awful and yet the phone always insisted on using it.

Was out and about at a local Dollar Tree Store grabbing some things there that are cheap to get but still quality stuff. In line getting my stuff rung up i look up and waiting in line stands this very nice looking girl. Looks at me, turns head away, then looks back at me. smiles. i smile back. grab my stuff. head out to go to my car and i look behind me and see she was coming out also. So when i got to my car i look to see where she went and low and behold.... She Drives a Sonic! A Cyber Grey Sedan :banana:

So that now makes 3 very beautiful Girls in town that drive a Sonic. 2 with a Cyber Grey Sonic, and 1 with Summit White Sedan. That i have seen thus far. Along with various other aged Girls and Woman Driving Sonics.

I have also seen several males, id say between teen to older mid 40-50's driving Sonics. Both hatch and Sedan. 1 Younger male has a black sedan. ive seen a victory red sedan with black steel rims on it. A victory red sedan with stock 15's. Blue Topaz Metallic Sedan. Black Hatch, Red Hatch. Alot of sonics in my town to be exact. People around here love them. The Sonic definetly has caught on here...

Still many that dont even know what a Sonic is lol. Had a Fella at work come up and ask me today what kind of car i drove. when i told him, he replied "Hmm, Never heard of a Sonic"... "Nice Little Car Though, i like it". I just laughed, said thanks and smiled.

Another weekend wasted at work. Oh well, have to get the hours in before the big lay off coming. I dont know if I have enough "friends" to get me through the lull before the next big job. Just have to wait and see. Not looking forward to the possibility of the lenght of time off if I do not make it through.

I think tomorrow will be spent installing anodes on the phosphate line at the job though.
