Well it's either melanoma or mast cell tumor. If its melanoma, we caught it and cut it out. If its mast cell, we will watch for others and keep cutting them out, or if its to the metastatic stage, successful treatment is extremely rare.
Will it change my decisions knowing what kind of cancer it is?? I don't think it will.
As a nurse, I watch people fighting the easier battles of cancer, and I see those fighting a losing battle too. I wish for myself if I'm ever there, to be able to go peacefully when I've had enough. I have had all of my terminal patients say to me, I'm tired and I'm ready, and yet they linger in pain and limbo...
I guess there isn't much more than a wait and see approach no matter the diagnosis.

I was excited and a little bummed on my way to work. There in the parking lot of the grocery store in the small town where I work, sat an Inferno Orange turbo LT HB.
Excited because I never see them so close to home, bummed because I am no longer one-of-a-kind :sadbanana:

Personally I would look for a different brand BOV. The smear campaign they ran some years ago will prevent me from ever buying their product.

I will pass also shouldn't a strut bar be connecting the strut towers. I mean I know this really isn't possible on the sonic because of their location.
Also what's with the random one bend in it and wouldn't this put a lot of stress and possibly bend the metal they show it connecting too in turn bowing out the top of your fenders? I am by no means an automotive wiz but just seems bad all together.

Indeed, the sonic looks to have a very stiff chassis.
The front strut mounts are right up against the firewall, actually part of them and right by the a-pillars. This is about as good as it gets for triangulating suspension loads. All the torque is transferred to the strongest, most rigid parts of the chassis.
Being a foot away from the strut towers and mounted to a non structural part of the fender I don't see how the brace can improve how the chassis handles cornering loads.
I also liked the bit about why they didn't use aluminum, while not mentioning aluminum ability to be more rigid than steel. Which sounds like a valuable attribute for a supplemental chassis support.

I just watched a How It's Made episode on the new Ferrari FF 4 seater, awd hatchback. It was really cool, an interesting bit was how they put in the valve seats.
They take the valve seats and dunk them in liquid nitrogen for a bit and then pull them out and have a robot push them into the cylinder head where they expand to an interference fit. Old theory but it was cool how it was implemented and how quickly they could pop a new seat in the head.
Also they have 2 areas in their plant with a ton of trees and plants
