Just did a little research after a lady at work told me my car had a recall on it that she heard on the radio. It is the same airbag recall that they have had ongoing since 2012 but I did notice another one that I didn't hear about before for the 1.8 auto owners.

Okay. I'm getting fed up with this.. There is scratches coming up on the bottom of my steering wheel.. In the same 2 spots and nowhere else. And today I noticed there is a 5th scratch.. My thighs don't touch the bottom of the wheel so it's not that.. I haven't had long nails in 3 month and my keys don't touch it.. What else could it be?

Naw last time i had my car in for service was an oil change and that was in March. These happen after that. I just don't know what's causing the scratches because there is 3 long scratches on one bottom side and 2 on the other bottom side.. I'd like to know how they are getting there lol

It's definitely something snagging the wheel left to right, based on how the tears look. Do you have your purse or something in front if you when you get in the car? Maybe as you sit in it and transfer the purse across, it snags the steering wheel.

No I don't really carry a purse and I'm the only one that drives my car. And it's at the very bottom of the wheel. I sat in my car thinking what I've could of done to do that and I have no idea what it could be
