Thanks Matt.
I guess the next time I take my Sonic in for routine service, I'll have to see a 2013 Sonic with MyLink and have a demonstration to fully answer my question.
It sounds like OnStar's "Turn-by-Turn" is completely independent from the GPS Mapping system that's downloaded via Smartphone to MyLink.
What I'm curious is do they work completely independent of each other or can they be integrated? Like your higher-end models (I'm looking at the Chevy Cruze LTZ build page with the "Audio with Navigation" that cost an additional $795), you have OnStar integrated with the GPS Navigational Screen showing you a displayed map working together with "Turn-by-Turn."
Another words, on the new 2013 Chevy Sonic, can you download OnStar's "Turn-by-Turn" and have it work together with the MyLink Navigation system from your Smartphone at the same time?

You can have the maps pop-up on the MyLink Screen but the application is smart-phone based so it must paired with the vehicle system to access it on the screen. The Cruze does offer an optional navigation system where the maps are pre-loaded into the system. I hope this helps.
