Thanks again 2THEXTRM, that's what I was looking for.

I just sent off a second mail to clarify my set up with BNR. I'm debating adding the BNR tune, but I think it's allot to add for just two standard mods (CA & Exh). Adding that would total out to around 1200 for everything.. and I still have to get tires for the frame off resto I'm working on.

BNR tune over Diablo 93 tune is worth the extra money hands down. VERY noticeable performance boost.

If I hadn't felt the difference between the 2 tunes myself, I would have absolutely still been happy with the canned Diablo tune. So much more fun than stock.

I disagree with this statement. With the Diablo sport tune I could feel the increase, but I was thinking i will be going to something with more power soon. Now that I have the bnr version I'm satisfied that this is what this engine will do with the parts I have.

I cannot go back to canned tune now that I've tasted the improvement with BNR tune. I was only pointing out if he doesn't have the extra $150 right now as mentioned, he would be happy with canned for now.

I flashed back to canned 93 octane yesterday to make sure I wasn't having a placebo effect, nope, BNR tune rocks. I probably should add hard charge pipe now, it has to be ballooning something fierce lol

Yeah, I didn't mean it like it came out I guess. I just meant you will be happy with Diablo sport but u will want more. Bnr tune adds crazy power. I can feel the wheels slipping now in 2nd gear without dropping the clutch

Well... I placed my order, and y'all sold me on the option, so I added that too.

... and to think... I promised myself that I wouldn't go crazy with the new car (The other project is even more sick then something you would see on Overhaulin).

Just dont tell my creditors that I have no plans to pay them back before my death.

My first new car ever... in this case a 1989 chevy K2500 PU. Drove it as a daily driver up to 189,000 when she really needed a motor rebuild.. After that, it was "'ya know.. I should replace (add part here) while I'm at it.."

That's been going on now for about 10 years, and about 25k in bills. The paint alone was a grand per gallon.. not including primer and clear.

It's completely out of control, and I will be scared to drive it when it's done.

No build threads, but might be able to fine a pic or two to add to the garage.

Yea, "new body" style. I put up pics in my garage. I took off this week to finish some things, but can't get my host on the phone. So another wasted week (Friends custom shop. He's a one man operation, and notorious to be absent. Best body/paint man in all of Virginia though. Hands down).

On Topic; My inTune should be here Tuesday (tomorrow!). If I get it in time, I may be able to get the BNR tune installed. I'll follow up here once it's in.

UPDATE:

ADVICE YE MUST YIELD;

I have "XFast" software installed on my win7 computer. It speeds up 2.0 USB ports. inTune and it's software will NOT operate with this on. You MUST disable this software BEFORE plugging in your intune for the first time. I messed around with it for two hours until I figured it out. So to be on the safe side, disable any USB boost software you may have before the first update.

After I dis that, it worked like a charm... but its slow. about 20 mins for all the update. The car instal took about 3.

Wow! This thread helped me lose weight...well, mostly in my wallet.
A man in brown just delivered my Diablosport Intune via BNR. I went with the canned tunes because it's rural GA with a 35-55mph speed limit and every time I see a cop they've either got someone pulled over or are hiding with a radar gun in hand, a minute away from pulling someone over. My quest is for better mpg.
So here's what I got:

You'll have a blast. But make no mistake, Jerry over at BNR will tune that thing like you can't believe it's the same car. I tried the MPG tune on a trip back from the south and had reasonably good gains when driving NOT like a crazy person....

the BNR tune though, that MAKES you want to drive like a crazy person.. least some of the time.

You won't regret it.

^ He is absolutely right. I have the BNR tune and it blows the Diablo tunes out of the water. You will notice a difference right away. The BNR tune is also great for gas mileage if you can hold back from stomping it, which is hard.

I got my Intune and should be tuning right away.

Thing of note: There is no specific tune available for the auto transmission at this time. They hope to have one but there's no firm commitment. When it asks to attempt a backup of the TCM, just hit the red X. If you don't, it'll fail and continue onto engine tuning anyways. So just save yourself a few minutes and skip it.
