Fog Light Installation

i will be having the dealership install my fog lights for me and it cost $135.

Freeway Chevrolet quoted me $110 install.

I've got all of the screws and clips out of the fascia, according to the instructions GM gave, but there is still something catching it up by the fenders, I'm afraid to pull too hard because I don't want broken plastic or cracks. Are there clips up there?

There's clips on the black plastic headlamp part I gave mine a good yank (holding the bumper in that area) but I'm sure there's a gentler way about taking it off

I finally have my fog lights installed. Looks good with the chrome parts painted black to match the black plastic covers.

I have factory installed Fog Lights. Does anyone know how you can make them turn on automatically when the Lights turn on? I don't want to have to keep hitting the button everytime.

I suppose you could wire them into the headlights.

That would be a PITA.... And a waste most of the time...

I just installed mine on my 2013 ls and they are staying on all the time. As soon as i start it the come on. I wouldn't care except they stay on with the high beams. I check the wire and im sure its in the right spot. Has anyone else had this problem

You had the flash done right?
If yes, I'd recheck your pinning.

Going to recheck the flash and then they will see if there is a difference in the pin for 12 - 13

Bought my kit from CED, it was perfect and complete. I was going to install myself but it would have cost an hour labor for the BCM flash anyways, so I checked to see what it would cost to see if my dealer would just do a complete install.... $115 later I'm happy. Well worth the money and for $310 total, not a bad deal

Fog Lights and Remote Start added from dealer

I just bought a new crystal red LS hatchback and the dealer told me it would cost $293 to add the fog lights and remote start for another $242, only at the time of purchase and it included a warranty. I opted to add both options. Since they were installing and programming them at the same time, I negotiated a deal to add them for both for a total of $475! By the time I filled out my car loan paperwork, they were finished.

I don't know about the wiring harness but the part number for the OEM GM fog light kit is # 95950429. That includes everything to install it.
