Quick update: Finally was able to find a reasonable vendor to cut everything. Will be assembling the first two grills over the weekend. I will have a "stock" version with no backer where the stache usually sits as well as a "staggered hole" version with a backer so you can't see the crash bar.

As soon as they are complete, and no issues arise, I will start taking on custom orders. Available in black or white; with or without crash-bar backer. Plate option also available.

The smell of lasered ABS plastic is quite horrendous till its cleaned. Busy, busy end of the week for me.

I think the grille would look sick with out any blocking of the holes to run a larger front mount im definitely interested in this set up with out a plate bracket.

Lets just say I haven't slept much this weekend. Was hoping to get both designs built but was quickly determined an unrealistic goal. First full replacement "Stock Mustacheless" grill for any non-RS Chevy Sonic. Installing tomorrow for final fit.

Thanks for al the positive comments! I have some documenting to finish up after work tonight. I've got another scheduled meeting with my vendor on Friday to take on the initial set of orders. Anyone who wants one built on this first production run, please PM me directly before Friday until I get a full outlined "options thread" in the "for sale" area.

As of right now the "stock mustacheless" and "staggered" designs are all I'm offering for the initial run. These will be available with out without the "stache cover" behind the visual area(similar to the RS style grill). Cost for either style will start at $300 plus shipping. Plate mount will be available for an extra $20.

All grills are made from an industrial strength ABS plastic solvent bonded together, completely fusing the individual pieces together. This is the same plastic your bumper is made out of. The ABS has a light "hairsol" texture on the visual side which not only makes it much easier to clean, but also will hide the inevitable rock chips. Because there is no painting involved, chips will be much less noticeable. Color is limited to black or white, but can easily be painted if desired.

can't wait to buy one even though $300 seems a bit of a steep price for this kind of thing noone else makes it.
