Hello everyone! I had to trade in my '01 Corolla because it's time had come to retire him. He had 197,700+ miles on him & I was having problems with the exhaust. I knew he (yes, I'm one of THOSE people) was getting ready to die on me so I had been looking at vehicles for about 3 months. I had that car for 11 yrs...it was difficult to let him go.
I did research on all kinds of vehicles. My last 2 cars were Corolla's so I was ready to try something different. I looked at Honda's, Nissan's, Pontiac's.....pretty much everything. Except. A Chevy Sonic. In fact. I had never even heard of them.
I bought a 2012 Chevy Sonic 2LT sedan with 28,800 miles on it. A little high but doable. He's all black with a gray/black interior. This thing is fully loaded! The only thing it doesn't have are heated seats. It's the 6 speed automatic with the option for manual shifting. I'm used to a manual transmission but shifting without a clutch is going to take some getting used to!
I'm pretty excited about my new car! I haven't had a new car in 11 yrs....& I've definitely haven't had one this nice! I want to be sure I take care of it because I want it to last me as long as possible! I thought it would be a good idea to become a member here so I can learn the good & the bad about my new wheels!!!
