How can you scoff at XD's because they are made in Croatia but praise a gun made in Czech-Republic?
Simple, CZ in not a historic American name slapped on a product made in another country. The XD also does not fit my hand at all and felt cheap when i handled it. If it was sold under the name of the manufacture that produces it, i would have far less problem with it. It might be a fine product, but it doesnt fit my hand well and I refuse to by an iconic American brand like Springfield that is just another product from another country. Its a personal issue. Would you buy a Corvette made in China? I wouldnt.
Yes my M&P22 is actually a Walther, but Walther produces quality products and it is made obvious that its a Walther produced firearm. CZ produces a damn good product. It is also a product that is more of what I want in a handgun. I prefer an all metal, hammer gun over a striker fire polymer gun. Unfortunately most of what is out there tends to be polymer striker fire.
