Didn't see this posted, cruse control can be adjusted by 1+/- mph using the up/down rocker while cruse is set.

Annoyingly, it does this regardless of the gauges being in metric or imperial.
E.g. Pressing up once will increase cruise speed by 1.6 km/h rather than 1.

Not a big deal but I can see it making an OCD's eye twitch.

In the hatchback, there is a box shaped indent on the passenger side. Is there something that is supposed to fit in there? Maybe a breakdown kit or something?

In the European version of the Sonic (Aveo), this spot is used to hold the EU mandated first-aid kit. There's a part number for it floating around in the forum somewhere.

Blinker can just be pressed down slightly and will flash 3 times. Dont have to completely lock it in.

Turn signal will chime if it is left on for an extended period of time.
Took me 28,000miles to realize that one... too funny..

I just stumbled upon this feature myself recently, so I was searching here to see if it was already mentioned. I'm glad to see it was -- this is such an excellent idea! For so long, I was always taking it off and tossing it loose into the back seat (if I was out), or removing it from the car completely (if I was home). So convenient to just stash it right there!

Iknew about this when I got my sonic but the major problem with it is that if you have kids with car seats in the back and like to make sure that they are all strapped in the child anchor in the back of the seats get in the way so you can't do it... So for me it will not go down... Boo... I wish they would of put in an extra inch of space so I could get I through with my car seats lol

:banana: i discovered a Hidden test menu in the Standard Stereo (not MyLink)!

Hold the CONFIG button for 6 seconds and "Test Mode Active" should appear.

now press the INFO button and a bunch of writings will appear, mosty Tuner info and settings (you cannot adjust them), and HW/SW Ver and date

now off to discover the Diagnostic Menu
