Well, it's been a full month with my 2013 Sonic hatchback and I'll have to admit I like it much more now than when I first got it. After adding a wide angle rear view mirror and removing the rear head restraints to make visibility better, having the front brake issue corrected, fixing the wind noise from the hatch, padding the door armrests, and hooking up an UltraGauge to monitor coolant temperature (and other things) instead of relying on an idiot light, I'm beginning to see why so many people really like this little car.

It definitely feels and sounds solid even when dealing with these nasty Massachusetts potholes. It has a nice tight turning radius and is real peppy around town. I'm still contemplating whether I should spend the money on a set of Michelin Premier A/S tires instead of keeping the rather noisy Reguls

on the car. At around $700 for a set of four including installation I'm hesitating. If a few hundred dollars somehow magically appears I know where it's going! In the meantime I'll just keep on drivin'.
