Injen intake...why all the hate?

What's the point of all the extra tubing and greater than 90° bends? Robbing power, that's what. Just ask Smokey Yunick. He'll tell you that this intake is bunk.

lol. didn't realize the injen intake was that ridiculous, who designs a stock pipe like this and says yes, we've done it here.. success with this product.

I think the length is there to straighten the air, vs adding a honeycomb air straightener. Also the location opens up a nook up front to install things like an oil catch can in a more accessible location. The open space is why I might get this.
