Maybe some sort of spring loaded tabs can keep it in place. Or you could build a lever with a charging cable to make the thing like a dock.

Just ordered a Nexus 7 POGO dock, so I'll be cutting the dash up a bit more before final paint.

Got the pogo dock today, already ripped it apiary to see how I'll go about doing this. I was a bit weary ripping apart a brand new $40 dock, bit I'm devastated to take a Dremel to it tomorrow! Oh well, well see how this goes... Lol
