Honestly vibs all aside, it is still a consideration members should have drilling into the front member of their car, to support the transmission.
Aaron,
Your are correct. Potential buyers
should consider the pros and cons of
any modification to a car before purchasing or proceeding with said modification, but I don't get why you feel it's necessary to come in
my sub-forum to defend
your products, and tell everyone why my new mounting solution is so dangerous. This is completely out of line in my honest opinion. You have your own sub-forum,as well as several other areas to post your concerns, but this isn't the place.
I want to clear this up now.
1)I think TTR makes quality engine and transmission mounts for the Sonic.
2)I feel I have come up with a better mounting option that will yield a dramatic increase in "responsiveness" without the same level of vibration inherent in other available drivetrain mounting solutions.
Now that I have publicly endorsed your product, please quit coming in here to defend it. Your mounts cause additional vibration over stock. Everyone(including you) knows this, but when I mention it, somehow this was an attack. It wasn't. I apologized for the misunderstanding my response caused while answering another member's question. I also removed your company's name from any of my posts on this subject. This should have been sufficient.
I feel like I have better Sonic products than yours or
anyone's, for that matter, but that's how it should be. If I didn't believe in what I was doing, then why in the hell waist my money and time doing it?
Competition is part of the market place, and I expect it, and accept it, and so should you.
