Before posting this I read the owners manual and looked on the forums for an answer.
I am having an issue very similar to this thread which was closed without a solution:
http://www.sonicownersforum.com/for...049-problem-playing-music-over-bluetooth.html
Basically my car doesn't have the option to pair a device as music.
The main difference is I have a 2013 LS and a verizon galaxy s4. I can pair my phone *as a phone* to my car no problem and place and receive calls through the car's audio system. However I cannot find any way to stream music from my phone or even find the "Pair Device (Music)" option in the bluetooth menu.
In another thread someone mentioned you needed to scroll down in the menu to see this option. However I cannot scroll down in this menu as there are no other options after "Pair Device (Phone)".
I also checked my phone and cannot see any option to configure the bluetooth connection as a media connection. There is an option to output audio to the car speaker, but it seems to only affect calls not anything else.
My phone is absolutely A2DP compatible which the Owner's manual mentions is required.
Thanks for any help
