Went to advance and used their elite scan tool. Still didnt work, did see the option to turn off the oil indicator light. Maybe the dealer thought you were refer to code 82 not 52.

Click menu on the turn signal lever to the left of the steering column until the Vehicle information menu appears. Scroll thru the screens by rotating the lever a few times until the replace timing belt item is displayed. Press and hold the set button on the end of the lever. It will ask are you sure you want to reset? Rotate the lever to select yes and hit the select button again to confirm. Make sure you have changed your timing belt before resetting this. Severe engine damage may occur if the timing belt is not changed on a regular schedule.

tried the oil option as in to clear the timing code. i know how to clear the oil code

There is no replace timing belt item in the menu. Called a couple of dealerships they want between 80 and 160 to reset it. Was told a number of different bs answers too. Even pump the gas four times and then hold it. By jeff at the Alexandria dealership. And of course they wont let you speak to a mechanic cause they suck.

DIC messages display when the
status of the vehicle has changed
and action may be needed to
correct the condition. Multiple
messages appear one after another.
Press any of the DIC buttons on the
turn signal lever to acknowledge
and clear them from the display.
More urgent messages cannot be
cleared from the DIC display. All

Exactly. Older cars you had to flip a switch behind the cluster to turn it off... just have to figure this out. There is no way im spending 80 at the dealer to have them turn it off

It should be literally pressing and holding the reset of button for 10-15 seconds

****SOLUTION ****** Remove all 3 fuses for instrument panel and. Wait 3mins and the replace.
