First of all, the problem on pricing for the Sonic RS in black is already corrected this morning but I still feel unhappy about it, the financial manager doesn't admit his fault and I don't have my car to drive to work and back home this week.
My story was the dealer charges additional $2500 for the extended warranty and $795 GAP insurance and claimed that is required from the bank to grant or secure the loan for me not from them. So I have to pay additional $3295 for the Sonic.
But I called the bank and found out that the fact is these charges was requested by the financial department of the dealership.
It definitely not the bank since the bank doesn't offer extended warranty at all and their GAP insurance is only $595 and the bank won't offer me because it's illegal to charge GAP insurance in New York and that's by Law.
So this morning, i had a 3 way conference call with the bank, the sales from the dealer and me for about 25 mins.
We are now all clear and everything should be good to go, so my price is back to what we agreed on from the beginning which is last Sunday.
The thing is the financial manager still denied that he requested it and it was required from the bank and he still saying that ...which make me want to do something legally to this dishonest person.
He put the GAP ($795) which is illegal to offer in NYC and $2500 extended warranty without my permission. Obviously the financial manager is trying to steal $3295 from me on purpose.
So what are the legal ways to file complain to this person or something? or make him admit his faulty way to scam a customer?!
Can anyone give me some advise on what I can do to this person.
I have talked to the bank about my situation, they said they can provide me the proof of the request from the dealership if I needed. So I will have all the proof to do something to him or the dealership, isn't it?!
