I feel like I can grab pretty much all those parts from a hardware store for less than ten bucks. What do you think?

Ok, well I have had this done since August and am very happy with the fit and the fact that I have no worries about leaking. It took me several weeks to find the right sized rubber plug but this is it. For only a couple of dollars, I picked up the plug from a Honda dealer (you may have to order it, part # is on the package). I grabbed a couple so that just in case, I had an extra.
This whole thing takes really like 15 minutes at the most from start to finish (I am of course counting the time to remove the panel and the wiper and reinstall the panel). I would slightly wet the the plug where it will go into the glass, then once in, press firmly all around the edges of the plug. The great thing is, they do not leak, they are an exact fit, and if you ever had to replace it, it takes literally 30 seconds to put in a new one!
As I mentioned earlier, this has been in since August and it is still perfectly sealed without any additional sealers.

This is one of the most subtle, yet favorite things I've done to my Sonic.
If I may offer some criticism..... I think the turbo badge looks wrong. I tried relocating mine a while back. It's hard to not want to advertise the turbo, but if you open up your exhaust....... People will know you're scrollin'.
Here's where I tried mine, but fortunately a couple members' opinions convinced me that it should be deleted all together.

I relocated the turbo badge the day after I bought the car. I will be doing at least a cat back mod on my exhaust soon. I should have a free weekend next month and hopefully some extra cash! opcorn:

Agreed, either keep the badges or get rid of all of them. The deleted wiper looks like it is missing something. However, I do like the clean look of the delete. Tint the tail lights and your white sonic will look mean.
