You'd be surprised how much us old guys know about photography! I've sold off all my SLR's because film is obsolete now. I haven't bought a digital SLR yet because I really can't justify the expense. I'm ok with a point-and-shoot digital for now. A Nikon D3200 would be nice!! :banana:

I actually picked up an old Minolta so I could start shooting in film. That stuff isn't expensive, when you use it for art/as a hobby. At $7/roll (Canadian), you can shoot a LOT of photos before you get to the cost of an equivalent DSLR ($5000 body, anyone?).

Then there's medium-format, but that's a whole other story.

I like messing around with pixel art and tweaking things here and there with photoshop/mspaint, but I have yet to actually make one from scratch...

Marshes all over here. Just finding one that I can park next to is the problem, lol.

I drive right through a "wetlands restoration" project every day, but the road is quite busy. Can't park along the side (lack of shoulder) and get out to snap a pic at that spot.

I think we should create a rule that no challenges should ever be created that will put the challengee into a potentially illegal/dangerous position.

I had something like that in the original rule set I posted. I'll have to edit it back in.

Tpayne, if the marsh challenge bombs, you can repost this as your challenge, but maybe say just a "sonic love" picture where the person responding has the opportunity to take a photo parked with another sonic (maybe more challenging to say another sonic not in your family lol) This way the person is not required to be using their phone while driving. They can choose to but it would not be required.

I was stopped when I took this pic but I was still driving behind it. Everyone should use their best judgment when taking their pics. And how would we know if said "sonic love" pic isn't of a family sonic. I would hope ppl wouldn't cheat but sadly I don't trust the devil within ppl. But since the marsh I'm sure someone will beat the challenge.
