uhh no.. theres nothing happening in the engine bay for the moment. i have the intercooler mounted incredibly strong. very happy about that and mocked my charge piping to get into the bay. i will be going back when this whole thing is said and done and making a new thread and writing a god damn novel for you guys with as many pics as i can and as much info as possible.
for now, total standstill. battery is getting relocated the trunk first things first. which requires some rather expensive wire. because i also have a relationship with car audio that is a horrible addiction. but. alas turbo first. turbo turbo turbo is all im thinking i truly am rolling a bone stock 1.8 na sonic right now...... and trying to boost it. not a single mod other than the door knob delete. i want boost and i want to accomplish this before anything else.
im getting ahold of my ss piping however and i pm'd bmr racing about a flange. i can machine one but i dont have a program, or the time to program that, im no good at manual, and i doubt bnr will send me their program for the flange. so im attempting to just get ahold of a flange from bnr so i can begin the wonderful task of custom header and downpipe. first things first above all is battery has to go. some relays need to move. move some wires and then we will see some pretty parts
sidenote: in the charge pipe mock up that i did i got rid of my stock uhh fender-ish intake and the second box in the bumper, not quite sure what all that did but i chopped the side off the stock air box and there is a pretty major difference there. so if theres any 1.8 guys watching running stock air boxes go unbolt the passenger wheel well shroud and yank that out.
