Well as a few of you know i ordered a hood protector from these people well over 4 months ago and i received it broken/Snapped in half in the box.. Well i been fighting with this site and my Bank for 4 months now.. this site has the worse customer service.. well really the owner.. when u call u get the same guy on his cell phone, but when i did get ahold of them on the phone they told me to start a claim with Fedex and they will send a new one.. so i did that and fedex sent them the claim and i never heard anything back from ShopChevyParts so i disputed it with my bank and then today i got a letter in the mail saying my claim was denied and they sent the email that ShopChevyParts sent my bank and they lied all over that email.. they said in that email that it was delivered and i did contact them to replace it but then they said that i failed to start a claim with Fedex so they had no way of sending me a new one and that they emailed me and called me over 6 times when i never got anything from them and then they said that i called them one time threatening them and then said in the email that i only disputed the Unbroken item because im cheap.. first off the item was broken.. i uploaded photos to this site the day i got it, 2 I never threatened anyone and 3 they never called me no 3 times so i went to my neighbors to use the phone and when i called the number to figure this out when i called and he asked for my name and i told him he hung up on me.. so i called back and he didn't answer so i called the other number they had and then he asked for my order number and then he hung up on me.. i been calling all day and they wont answer my phone now.. and my bank denied my claim and said there is nothing more they can do and these *******s wont answer my calls or emails and im having to pay the $86 on the part i received broken and dont even have anymore. Id stay away from this site because they screwed me over big time an i been reading bad reviews on this site and i wish i read all these before i ordered because i would of never ordered from them.

Well when you call the number they give you its a cell phone.. because when they dont answer it says this wireless provider is not available

if its the hood protector that is plastic smoke color. I got mine from advance autoparts online. After i found a discount code online it only cost me like 39.00 total. you can always find online codes with them also.

I'm sure there are some websites that wouldn't mind having their email address either.

Chances are his email filters are good, as well as number blocking. Best way is to get people here to stay away. The more posts and a cap of a bunch of surly people posting might change things.

But whats is going to happen is my bank denied my Claim and i called them and there is nothing they can do that i need to work it out with the seller.. hard to do when they seller wont work it out with me, and my Bank Of America account i closed a month ago because When i lived in California i had that account well now that im in Kentucky i dont have a Bank Of america around me, So now BOA is going to reopen my closed account, Remove the Refund credit and then it will throw my account in overdraft so ill have a $36 fee on top of that $86

That's bs.. I only shop at CarID or I buy factory parts from the Cadillac dealer I work with. Guarantee they don't get much business so when they do they like to hold onto the money. Sucks.

I was thinking about getting a hood protector for my black LT, but it doesnt look like it does much, if anything, as it only protects a small strip, and I dont know if I like how it looks either.

Tell me about it! ive never disputed anything with bank of america before and they basically screwed me over denying it because its $86 ill never get back

Yeah i would not get it, It looks nice on your car but it protects very little and it sticks to your car with some VERY sticky tape stuff and when i was taking it off i was scared it was going to rip my paint off

Yeah it seems like gravel/dirt and stuff could get trapped under it and actually do more damage than not having it on.

Im thinking pass on getting this one, thanks for your feedback.
