Brought my car in to the dealership today (Berger Chevrolet, Grand Rapids). Just wanted to post to let others know what they said. They couldn't recreate the problem, and couldn't find any other issues. They did however have a software update for the head unit, and the key FOB. I've only had it back for about a hour but so far it has not had the same issue. I'll post again after some more time has passed.
