I Imagine if GTPprix gets the hacks completed, then it should be possible via the same place you plug in the camera. It may require a bit more modding though as it would only work when you put the vehicle in reverse.
You can use this for a game console.

Swap 2012 to 2013 Mylink
Honest question...
I've read through a bulk of this thread I can't find a definitive answer...
1) Can you swap a 2012 LTZ Stereo for a 2013 MyLink? (Cost is of no concern... don't need replies like don't do it)
2) If yes, what parts do you need to have? (Radio, OnStar, Steering Wheel, ECU, Complete Wiring harnesses, Etc.)
3) Will dealer be needed for reprogramming and will they do it?
4) Is there anyone that has done this?
Like I said I don't need replies like don't do it. I want to know definitively if it can be done and exactly what parts I'll need to swap.

Definitive answer, MyLink has not been retrofitted in a Sonic. It has been in a Camaro which indicates it could be in a Sonic.

the mylink in my 2014 sonic has stopped connecting to the call audio on my phone, but it still will connect to the media audio of it. anyone have this happen to theirs? I haven't been able to check my phone on any other car to see if its my phone or the mylink as I just noticed it tonight. any ideas?

Is this the BEEP when you move volume up/down? Mines has done this about 12 times since new.
Not sure if anybody else is having this issue. It seems very random, but sometimes, my MyLink (2014 RS) will start back up in the same state as it previously started (as opposed to what it was doing when I turned it off).
Meaning, I will turn it on. It will be at the :56 second point in, "fortunate son" let's say, playing from a USB stick. I will skip several tracks, and turn off the car in the middle of "Timber" (eclectic mix, I know). SOMETIMES, when I start the car again, it will start at :56 into "fortunate son" again...
It seems like it may have something to do with switching to pandora app. Honestly not sure at this point. I haven't been able to decipher the randomness yet.
Anybody seen this?

Mine does this all the time forgetting which radio station I had it in last and jumping to one that I hadn't chosen for a few days. I've had it where it reverts to the wrong memory preset up to 8-10 car restarts even though I change the station each time. The mylink unit is seriously buggy.

Yeah but it beeps with anything... When i press a preset etc... Super annoying. Lol.
