New Development mode code?

Hello, I just got done searching this thread for any other question like this and couldn't find it. My issue is: I was once able to access several node using the old code found on the Russian forum from way-early posts. However, since that MyLink reprogram/recall the old access code no longer works. Does anyone know the new code? (Ya know, the one where you need to tap the upper-left corner 10 times)

So question, is it impossible to part out a mylink sonic of a later year into a 2012? Why can't we import the the whole onstar bluetooth box and the headunit together?

can I install my link touch screen in to my 2015 sonic ls that doesn't have a touch screen ?

Yes you can you have to reprogram vin on mylink unit

Just installed a mylink on a 2016 sonic LS everything works just had to add wires to the door plug to get speakers on rear doors to work . donor car was a 2014 Sonic LTZ

I did the myLink recall and the code still works on mine (2014)

Sooooo my steering wheel controls stopped working over the weekend. I thought it might've just been a fluke so I restarted the car after locking/unlocking to reset the MyLink and things got worse from there... The date was set to 01/01/2006, the font changed when I switched from FM to Bluetooth, and the steering wheel controls were all messed up (the Volume Up button switched to the Telephone input). The temperature also no longer comes up and is simply a blank box. When I left for work this morning it went back to just the steering wheel controls not working, but everything else appears to be working as normal except the temp.

Anyone have a clue what this could be? I should mention that I have Video in Motion bypassed and have performed the version 24 upgrade. Do I need to revert to stock?

Yeah mine did that a couple times too and went back to working after being off for a while. This time the bug is here to stay :blankface:

I have 2017 Sonic and this is my version of software. The developer mode code works but there is no explorer that I can see. Anyone know if we can do anything with this version?

I have a 2013 chevy sonic ltz with mylink and i did the unlock thing and it works great. I can watch video while driving. however i keep getting notices from GM for my loss of key reminder service. If i bring it in will it break the unlock?

Yes, more than likely any dealer MyLink service will revert the VIM bypass. I never took my '13 RS in for the key thingy and haven't had any issues.

I recently (week or so) got the update for the recall for the key chime thing. Today my screen is blank and nothing related to the mylink is working. I've tried disconnecting the battery for a little bit and still nothing. I called the GM infotainment number and they said to take it to the dealership. They said they'd have to look into it (my car is a 2013-out of warranty-I'd have to pay for it) and to call the infotainment number.
Any tips/ideas?

Like me, you have an incomplete recall, and now they are going to tell you in order to complete it they have to have a 'working' mylink system..... sorry you will need a WHOLE NEW SYSTEM... same thing happened to me. I was just under 100,000 miles so they had to do it under warranty.... these recalls that need an electrical engineer and computer scientist, are going to be the bane of our existence.

Even if i didnt have the unlock on my system I still wouldnt do this update. Its messed up how chevy is trying to force a update that "fixes" one issue. But it breaks the Bringo app, and is literally making some units completely inoperable.

can someone provide me with all the information possible on how to setup and install a backup camera with the mylink system? also recommend a good but cheap camera
