yeah, that re-assured feeling of being able to know right away if somethings not right
yeah i agree, in my cobalt i had an aerforce interceptor OBD2 scan gauge (in the left pod) that read everything the ultra gauge does, but it could only display 2 parameters at a time. im definitely gonna get an ultragauge though cuz that was my favorite mod in the cobalt that wasn't a power adder

So can you give is the info on how to remove the sensor on the side to be able to press out the pin so the butterfly can be removed?

Yes. Considering when you press the "gas" pedal you are not actually controlling the throttle plate. You are telling the ECU that you want to move. The ECU then tells the injectors and throttle and ignition to dance according to the song you are asking to hear.
If you were to just manually operate the throttle blade, even if you managed to keep the TPS in tact, the ECU will go nuts trying to figure out how to balance the fuel with the amount of air you are allowing in.
I doubt it would run at all. Gone are the days where the owner has much control over throttle signal by mechanical means. It's all 1' and 0's at this point.
Couldn't an adaptor plate be made to accept a larger tb, kind of like a tb spacer. This is assuming we could control the new tb via the computers/tuning.
Only problem I can think of is, would it even be beneficial to have more airflow at the tb only to be restricted back to factory at the manifold.
The ultimate solution I believe would be a larger more free flowing ss manifold fabbed up to accept a larger tb out of the box. An all-in-one unit
