Lies, I get 153 miles out of a gallon of gasoline. Admittedly thats by getting 23 miles per gallon of E85... but even if you want to go by gallon of liquid I get twice that. All yhou have to do is follow the Smit directive; slow down, keep it under three digits!

Now now let's not make blind assumptions. FirstOrbit closing this thread down will not change what people do.
Maddog, my sonic with Eibach lowering springs handles 140+ mph solidly but with a caveat. Straightline it is very solid but there is a strong hint that anything other than very subtle manuevering will upset this chassis and in a big way.

Sx, you don't think that egging other people on online has any effect on what they do? What about when any vendor on here announces a new product? People race to buy it and post about it. It's all a p¡ssing contest.
I just hope someone you love isn't in the other car (or in the car with you) when you or someone else loses control at 140mph.

FirstOrbit your point is valid, my point is that not every one subscribes to that mindset. Some people myself included crave awnsers like others crave attention and I'll put it this way those 2 mind sets are d*mn near mutually exclusive. Seeing as how you've been on the forum for awhile I'll leave it to you to determin which camp I belong. I'll do the favor of awnsering that people like me are going to do what we do with or without outside influences.
Why would you hope no one I love is in the car with me or next to me?! Are not the majority of individuals lifes equally important? Every person is someones loved one so is a persons life irrelevant because I don't know them?
And what would cause me to crash going 140 that wouldn't at any speed? deer-I don't swerve, tire blow out-I don't swerve, car-why is there a car by me. We could pick this apart for a week subjectively. However I AM right because of what I did in this instance and it was determined Objectively and I Know the particulars of this event, you are assuming in this event.
Yes you're point is valid but you are insiduating things about me without fact so here they are to lay waste to all argument for anytime I have or will post in here.
I have access to a personal airfield that is approx 2 mi long with a 1mi long asphalt road leading to it on one end, there is a large stretch of meadow type ground leading to it that I'm able to get to about 80 before hitting the service road (and similar field on the other side I use for run off). There are no ditches, the closest tree is about 1/2mi to the side (actually a tree line) and it is all flat ground. There are no cars, no children, no pedestrians. It would literally take an act of god outside the realm of normal physics for there to be a catasrophic crash. So in that context is what I'm doing or anyone that puts similar thought into something deamed "scary dangerous" by society actually negligent?? Questions should come before assumptions are spread as truth or finger pointing.
Bottom line I posted what I have observed as a top speed not because I think I'm cool or want attention but because it was a question I had myself and I tested it to find an awnser. This thread was asking a question, one of which I had an awnser.
