Yeah this car has magical powers and shoots rainbow colored flames out the back! All jokes aside I love this smallish machine and dig the vibe and feel it has. Ironically this was a stock LT turbo sedan that the dealership here in Hawaii wanted to step the game up and add some goodies! but first here is a pic!


Mods include:

Upgraded suspension package

Z spec 17inch rims with z spec center caps

Air Intake with chevy performance box (IDK the name its around the filter)

Turbo back borla exhaust (TurboCorn was thusly born from hearing it!)

Trim around front headlights

Rear spoiler

Roof rack

decal down the side

tinted windows


I am sure there are a few things I missed... But overall buying an already modded chevy spark with OEM parts was simply amazing! Its like I didnt even have to search for stuff since it already had MODS I would of done!

Life is good... but the ride height is a bit tall and maybe some suspension mods to help body roll will be in the future! :banana:

I've only been to Hawai'i twice, but I didn't find anyplace to go that fast. Where do you drive?

Ha! There are some killer back roads but that's really for locals to know! I live less than 5 mins from a killer back road that takes ten mins up and ten back... I've spent many hours learning that road and that's only one of them! I did however have a different car for those roads, a 2010 MX5 that was seriously modified (I did the mods myself) and that was a joy to drive down winding narrow back roads.

I wish Chevy made a small coupe... That's not a muscle car!

Ironically I feel the sonic is a unique platform and would be cool to see more and more folks modify to be street and track beasts! For now my car is a daily and I like that! Some day I'll start a new project but for now my TurboCorn will do!

Pretty sweet. Nice that all that came from the dealer.

There's a couple people trying to push these cars. Walker from MPFab is big turbo pushing 300whp, there's a bunch of 1.8 guys that come to mind that auto cross, and there's some other cool stuff going on (someone made a sonic mini pickup truck!). Check out the Gamma II Facebook page.
