hearsay or not, your trans mount is why the voided it, and the burden to prove it didn't cause the failure lies on you, unfortunately.
It is all hear-say. The service manager that wrote my car up and sent it to the local GM rep has never seen my car before. The transmission tech that cried about doing the work and that he is backed up till November has never worked on my car before. The shop never handled my car, all work was done by me or was taken to my buddies garage when I needed a rack, there is no proof anywhere that anything was ever on that car. It does not have any RO'S or anything else that it was ever in the shop with all these mods that they claim that I have... hell I can say I have an LS1 under my hood and make everyone believe me, but until I see physical proof of that LS1 by data from computer and or pictures, then it is just hear say. The tech had in his mind before that he didn't want to work on it be cuz I had him test drive 2 days before they gave me a time to bring it in the shop to get it looked at and he stated "well I dunno if they will cover it due to your springs and wheels blah blah and have u done computer work" because I've known alot of people with their sonics tuned that he has turned down.
Btw Eric, because of trans mount? Please tell me how. Let me know how a stiffer load out and less movement and smoother fitment and engaging of the gears and throttle response and no wheel hopping/tire spinning , made the already faulty bearing go out of this already weak transmission.
Edit: oh yeah the manager sent pictures for evidence to the local GM rep, local GM rep declined and a different GM rep contacted me. She said that in his report he declined it due to mounts, intake, etc.. which all of this is what he supposibly got pictures.. to bad the service manager only has pictures of my springs and wheels? So where are all these other parts magically coming from? Oh yea the tranny tech hearing it from someone else that I've done things to my car. Sheesh so childish.
