Chevy doesn't build rice burners, but when people like you try and "slam" them, try and make them look like civics, and with a name like "American tuner" you turn them into rice burners.

I'm pretty sure American Tuner hasn't made it to the level that you're speaking of in an over generalized "I hate rice" way and nothing in his signature seems rice in the least. You have insulted a few members by your generalized comment, Iraqivet, Zach Tuller, Preloader and Fear One off the top of my head and I'm pretty sure none of them have been built to "rice" specifics except in your head.

So, if I can ask, what is your thought process on building up a turbo four cylinder economy car that doesn't qualify as "rice"? As I am assuming anything done to a car to increase looks and performance is "rice" whether it's a Focus, Lancer, Sonic, Rabbit, etc. I'm pretty sure that even my car qualify as rice by your definition.....

Thank you rdss . To say my car is rice is your opinion. Thats fine. Its not though. Not in my eyes. My name american tuner has no reference to rice. I.build my car because i like it that way. Clean. I am still waiting on my h & r springs and they will be hardly close to a slam look. Do i like lowered cars? Yes. Will i go even lower than h & r? More than likely. Everything i do is performance based. If i had offended you then i apologize. A car can be slammed, body kit, carbon fiber galore, loud exhaust and still be a clean looking car.

Would I trade the Sonic? No. Because DD.

Would I think about selling the Cobalt and getting one? Mayhaps... As long as Chevy is smart about the car. RWD. The better engine choice is putting in the turbo 2.0 LHU(I think... used to be the LNF from the Cobalt, but they tweaked it a bit, and it has a new code...) It could be a brilliant car, if Chevy doesn't drop the ball.

I don't give 2 ****s who I offend, I'm entitled to my opinion at least as much as anyone else. I regret letting my dad ever push me into this car. And by "rice" I mean giant, farty mufflers/exhausts and lowered to the point of having to worry about speed bumps and potholes for fear of rubbing a tire on a fender or needing a skidplate over an oil pan on a DD...

Build up a turbo I-4 all you want, I'm all for performance no matter what it is, I even like a mild drop so there isn't a massive gap between wheels and fenders, to a point.
but there is a limit to everything.
all this coming from a kid who grew up on tractors and trucks mind you, so of course my opinions are going to be different from cityslickers and other people...
my dream car is a Camaro and my dream truck is a duramax.
