As a note, if you have a short shifter installed, or are planning on one, this clamp won't fit anymore. Doesn't have enough clearance from the transmission with the clamp on.

It interferes enough that grinding it down would likely cause structural integrity issues, negating the effects gained by the clamp.

In terms of feel and use, absolutely. But if you weren't planning on getting a short shifter, the clamp will help tighten things up.

Not yet, I'm going to look at the mounting today before work, and hopefully I can either barrow one or get one off a member to confirm

5 speed has very similar mounts,

If someone can lend me the clamp in a week or so after it warms up a hair, i should be able to test this out

O great.. guess i will be selling mine if it ever shows up or maybe i will cancel the order..
