Blank Radio Screen??

I'll get to the dealer someday. I'm just busy and it's not a critical problem.
Some notes from this morning:
Very cold this morning, -4F. Put into reverse out of the garage, radio stopped. Came back on it’s own seconds later? Then put it into 1st at street, doors auto locked, radio stopped. Radio out several times for traction control or anti-lock brakes. Radio power button never brought it back. Hazards on did. Rear defrost on did.

Radio shuts off and no sound from turn signals
I have the same problem. It happens when temps outside get cold. Today the temp was -2F on the way to work and the radio never turned on. It blinked a couple of times when the traction control would kick in, but then immediately turn off again. I drove an hour to work with no functioning radio. It also stops the sound of the turn signal.
On the way home, the temp was a bit warmer, but again, no radio. One thing I found that is a temp workaround is shut the car off, take the key out, and put it back in and start the car. Unfortunately, it is difficult to do on the highway. I did get a call and the phone connected through the bluetooth, but I could not hear or answer it as there was no working connection to the radio.
The car has had this problem since I bought it, but never to the extent I've seen it the past couple of days. It starts when the temps drop below 40-50F.
I'll be taking it in to the dealer shortly.
And I'm in Michigan, so the temps should be low from Sept-May, so this is a problem.
Update: I hit the rear defroster button as mentioned in an earlier post and the radio powered on. I turned off the rear defroster and the radio continued working.

Took the vehicle in for warranty repair of radio. They were able to duplicate problem, called service center and found a software upgrade that solved the issue. Radio works great now.

... I took a printout of this from a fellow member to my dealership and they fixed the issue. No more annoying radio problems with the blank screen.

It's been over a year and I still haven't gotten to the dealership to check this problem. All winter my traction control had been turning my radio on-off-on-off. I hit the rear defrost to turn it back on.
It sounds like the REPROGRAM procedure mentioned above and in another thread will probably fix it.
This afternoon I discovered if I pull up on a power window switch repeatedly very quickly I get the same effect. Radio turns off. For whatever that's worth.
