I'm about 3.25 years in on my 2014...65k miles. In the last few months (it's cold in Kansas), I've started to notice an unbearable noise when I turn on the heater. It's worst at speeds of 1-2...becomes less audible at speeds 3-4 as the frequency increases.
In doing a little searching online, it seems several owners dating back to 2012 have traced it to the fan blower motor. I've tried contacting customer service. Obviously, I'm out of warranty. They told me to get it officially diagnosed, which would cost about $90...then about $350 to get it fixed.
I'm pretty disappointed in that it seems to be an older issue dating back to 2012 that was not fixed for 2014. Perhaps it just took that long to manifest itself. Either way, seems like a quality control issue, not a normal wear-and-tear issue. Anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?
