I'll be turning 61 in February, and I have a 2014 1.4 turbo also. I find your comment about the power of the 1.4 turbo humorous.
Now I bought the turbo because it has more power than the 1.8.
But your age and statement kind of tell me that you've never driven anything with real power before...
Of course - I grew up in the days of the Muscle Car. My dad was selling GTO's when they first hit the dealer showrooms in 1963.
My '64 GTO with the original 389 impressed me with it's power after years of driving 4 and 6 cylinder cars when I first got it done (3 year frame off) back in the fall of 1994.
But after having that level of performance for well over a decade, I got bored with the power level. I put the original 389 in storage and built a 30 over 455 (462 ci) two years ago.
That was an increase of about 100 HP from the OE engine and about 150 pound feet of torque. I'm already thinking of options to create more power...
