so i just got the call from chevy and they said i should not be driving my car like that hahaha.
My service dept called me and gave me the same thing..the mechanic who was with me was like this car was not meant to be driven this way...
. I see how GM is coming back saying the car isn't supposed to be ripped on, its a 1.4 eco car, not a cobalt ss or evo.
What kind of car it is doesn't really matter. When operated correctly and shifted before the set redline it shouldn't grind going into any gear at any rate of quickness.
End of story.
So I called around to all the local dealerships in the Sacramento area and asked about fixing my grinding issue into second. None of them knew what i was talking about even after giving them TSB and document #'s. I'm starting to think I'm going to have to take on fixing this myself but would much rather have a certified tech fix it. Why is it that none of the service guys have an idea what they are doing?
