The stock plastic BPV won't hold up as well as a billet piece would under heavy boost.

So this is a preemptive strike against the OEM BOV popping its lid and shooting around the engine block like the bullet that killed JFK?
I'm only running about 22psi, like most of you, has anyone actually reported a problem?

it's not a matter of blowing its top, it's a matter of tiny amounts of air getting out. more stays in, more power, basically.

I don't think anyone has had a problem with boost leak yet, but just imagine how bad it will be when it does happen! I would imagine a man such as yourself could benefit from the forge bypass valve and yellow spring.

Finally with the right tools and jamming my hand in i finally istalled the bov:banana::banana:
Sounds exactly what i was expecting.....under heavy throttle its a loud burst of air even with that straight pipes its still very noticable and you always have peoples heads turnin

Thanks, I used a rachet and a 8inch extension. Getting the rachet in there is also hard and painfull to manuver in such small space. I only used the rachet to loosen up the bolts and used te extension to take em out. But thank god no bolts fell Overall it took 2hours from start to finish. I also got 5 codes on my ug but everything seems fine, car started up perfectly and ran good.

I got it all apart and went to install and it would not go in the diameter of the base of my forge valve does not fit into the hole ont he turbo side. I am greatly upset Jerry and I are currently trying to figure out whats going on. My hands are tornt o pieces and the fact that reinstalling the spring loaded stock bpy is nearly impossible by urself you should of heard me cussing. Did yours just slide in easily. cause mine wont even go in?

are you f'N' kidding me is it shaped differently or something? is the shaved spot on the outside mean anything? i tried pushing it in it would not go in like its diameter is too big.

i did. believe me I did. the diameter is way to small for this bpv to fit into. I tried forcing it in. it will not go. it almost as if they didnt shave enough metal off to make it fit.
