Did u remove the back piece of the stock bpv? There should be 3 pieces, front part, spring and back piece.

after jerry went to look at his products we have both came to the conclusion i have accidentaly recieved the 2.0T bpv.

i did believe me this isnt the right one, im mechanically incline. Jerry and I know its the 2.0T bpv. I will be sending it back to BNR on monday.

Yeah I don't check the boxes when I get them from Forge. It looks like they put a 2.0 valve inside a 1.4 box. I'm going to the post office right now to mail him one that I checked and know for sure to be a 1.4. As long as I get there by 9PM eastern he should get the valve by Tuesday hopefully. Worst case he'll get it Wednesday. I'm also covering the cost to ship me the wrong valve back.

ya i was having so much trouble with all the lines and hoses and wires in the way i pulled the wastegate actuator out of the way, most of the vacuum lines and coolant line and could not get the ac line to budge.
then i was still having trouble with the torx screws. got two to loosen up then the third was a bitch. finally started to tighten the other two back up and tried the third one last time and got it. but ran out of daylight and gave up
will try again tomorrow if the weather wants to cooperate.
any pointers

I have a quick reference in the first post, but I use a socket with an extension and torx bit to break the nuts loose and the a screw driver with a torx head to remove and start the bolts and then it's back to the ratchet and extension to snug it up. I also got a magnetic tipped tool retriever and used it to catch and hold the bolts while pulling and installing them.

I will say that about an 8" extension with a 1/4 ratchet is the ticket.
I have done it twice.
Putting the one bolt in the back is the most difficult, both time I put tape on the socket to hold the bolt. This seemed to work for me.

So I have taken the car apart 3 times and I'm still getting hung up on those bolts. I'm so afraid I'm going to get everything out and not be able to get it all back in. I am down to one vehicle so it's tough to not be able to finish a small project. But anyway. Sunday I'm doing it early in the morning and that's it. No turning back haha
