Got my lower tues, ordered sat. Quick turnaround if you aks me.

Change in vibrations wasn't as substanitial as I was hoping but it was an improvment for sure (I also have 8k mi on the upper)

Still I like it and consider it a great addition to the sonic.
I am a driver and believe in being connected to MY car and feeling what's going on and not just strapping myself in and going for a ride.

A couple weeks ago, shortly before driving to Texas, I posted somewhere on SOF that once I got back from the trip I would probably put my stock upper and lower's back on. The vibration wasn't bad per se (like it was when I had the lower in upside down) but it was annoying when driving my girlfriend to and from work or on dates as I often do. I know, you'd think she'd appreciate it, but no. Anyway, since getting down here things have calmed down substantially and I'm thinking maybe I can keep them after all, particularly since I've got six more weeks of driving in TX (where everything is always a hundred mile round trip) and then I have to drive all the way back.

Early on I was told things would settle out after around 5K miles, and I haven't done the math, but there does seem to be something to that.

I have 13k on mine and there pretty calm until your hit 1500rpm other then that they have days they are totally quite and days there loud

Yeah there are a couple rpm levels where they shake things up but overall pretty quiet. Only trouble is, in the city driving that is the "take me to work" happy fun time, turns out there are many many instances of passing through those rpm levels.

Here in Dallas it's possible I'm just not being forced to do that so much, but I feel like no, it's really damped down a lot.

Cavalier are all metal, heavier, and don't have cnc machined billet aluminum in them... The sonic mounts are the same price as the Cobalts, focus st, dodge dart... These are much more complex vs the cavalier one. This is the best price.

Cavalier manual trans mounts are an insert, I would neverexpect the cost of the trans mount for the SOnic to come down to that price.

Your right, on the cavalier what the member I believe is referencing is just a poly bushing; which the customer presses into their stock mount. The Sonic mounts are complete replacements.
